In line with the Christmas lighting on Thursday 1st December, we will be holding our last market of the year in Ballinrobe in association with local craft and farmer traders. The market will take place between Church Lane, off Main Street.
Our opening hours will be noon to 8pm on Thursday, 9am to 7pm on Friday & Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

Market Days Cancelled
For its very first edition, we are co-organising a Christmas Market in Broomfield, on the Roof of the High Kffing County. It is a wonderful location, the "second highest point" of County Meath with view over Slane Town and Dublin City. Organised in partnership with Frank Murawski, it will take place from 12pm to 8pm on Thursday and Friday and from 9am to 6pm on Saturday.
The eccentricity of this event is attracting a wide interest and large media attention. More than 40 stalls are expected, including Santa Grotto, Christmas Trees, Live Animal Crib and street entertainment.
This event is co-organised with Frank Murawski of "Frank German's Sausage" and Rita his wife, who runs Broomfield House B&B.

After Halloween, we will be setting up at the Harbour Place Shopping Centre, in Mullingar from 10am till 8pm each day. On Saturday, we will be joined by local traders, initiating a Farmer market for a 5 weeks run to Christmas.

For this October Bank Holiday weekend, we are delighted to announce that we have been invited for the second time by Sligo Live Committee. In its fifth year, Sligo Live is an ongoing growing Music Festival on the Irish scene. We will set up on and off Rockwood Parade along the Garavogue River from Friday 28nd to Monday 31st of October 2011, from 10am to 6pm each day.

For the third consecutive year, The French & Continental Market of Ireland is delighted to take part in the JFK Dunbrody Festival. With Free Gigs on the Main stage in the Town Park, we will be on the way, on the Quay beside the Dunbrody Famine Ship.

After Czech Republic and Poland, the Charter of European Rural Communities is helding its Annual Convention in Ireland. For over 20 years, the Charter has developped bonds of friendship amongst all European Countries, bringing up the concern of Rural Communities at European level.
After the Queen's visit, the dynamic town of Cashel (South Tipperary) is welcoming the event with delegations from 26 European Countries.The Cashel Heritage committee has organised a variety of animation and entertainment to celebrate their venue, program which is available on their dedicated website: Cashel European Rural Convention.
In the fringe of Waterford Tall Ship (just an hour away!), this event gives everyone the opportunity of visit the Rock, where took place one of the latest page of Irish History... The French & Continental Market of Ireland will be held from Thursday to Saturday, on the Plaza, off Main Street, from 10am to 6pm, creating the best synergy of colour and diversity.

Sun 19th to Sun 26th June 2011 - Kildare Derby Festival in Kildare Town
Following on our last years visit to Kildare town, the French & Continental Market of Ireland has been invited to come back as part of the Kildare Derby Festival. While only few of our traders will join Taste of Kildare on Sunday, a larger team will set up on Monday for a most welcome weekday market, opening time from 10 to 6pm Monday to Wednesday. Late opening on Sunday.
Every visitor could also take this opportunity to visit National Stud, Japanese Gardens, Kildare Village and other Kildare Local attractions.

Fri 3rd to Mon 6th June 2011 - Carrickmacross Festival
For our second time, the French Market of Ireland will be part of the Carrickmacross Festival. Everyone is ensured to get fun and fullfilment. Our French & Continental Food and International Craft would be here for adding to everyone's enjoyment. Will this 11st Edition match the 10th Anniversary last year? Make a view of your own by visiting the town... We will set up in the Main Street, from 10am to 6pm each day.

It is going to be a great outing weekend in Castlebar, and quite sportive one too with two major animations. On Saturday 30th April, will take place the Mayo Pink Ribbon 100 km Charity Cycle. On Sunday 1st May, Castlebar will turn into a pedestrian town, with its Women's Mini Marathon, starting at 12 noon.
The French & Continental Market of Ireland will take place on both side of Market Square. Opening hours will be: 9am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 7 pm on Sunday and Monday. Street Entertainment will be organised on the North section of the Market Square, in the afternoon, Saturday to Monday.

Sponsored by LMFM [Meath First Radio], the Meath Chronicle and M. Donnelly, the Navan Home & Garden Show is organised by North East Family Home & Garden Show. The French & Continental Market of Ireland has been considered for the launch of this new event. Our early bird traders are going to leave their long hibernation, with the return of the clown, you name it: Pipa...!
The show will take place at Navan Race Course, from 3 to 8pm on Friday 22 April and from 11am to 6pm on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April, while Pipa will join us after lunch.
