With an official launch in July 2009 (quite late in the year), we organised 10 events, always bringing fun, colour and atmosphere despite some adverse weather sometimes. Fri 18th to Sun 20th Dec. 09 - Christmas Market in Dundalk, Co Louth - back to top In a last effort to support Santa's Toy & Gift Factory, the French Market of Ireland has been invited to the Marshes Shopping Centre, in Dundalk. Our traders will be delighted to welcome Santa & everyone in a very enthusiastic manner. The French Market will be on from 10am to 6pm everyday. Thanks to Harry Traynor, Director of the Marshes Shopping Centre, his kind invitation and support and the welcome of his team. Fri 4th to Sat 5th Dec. 09 - Xmas Lighting in NewBridge, Co Kildare - back to top For our first time in Newbridge, the French Market of Ireland will join the Christmas Lighting Celebration in Georges Street, from 10am to 6 pm both days. Surrounding the Big Tree, we will all take great care in adding something special to the day.

Santa is coming down to town on Thursday 16th November: the French Market of Ireland has been invited to welcome him along the River Boyne, by the Scotch Hall Shopping Centre. In a slightly different set up, the French Market will be delighted to great Santa & everyone in an enthusiastic manner. The French Market will be on from 11.30am to 7pm on Thursday, and 10am to 6pm Friday & Saturday.

Fri. 16th & Sat. 17th Oct. 09 - Scotch Hall Shopping Centre, Drogheda, Co Louth - back to top For the launch of their Farmer Market held every Friday from 10am to 5pm, the French Market of Ireland has been invited by the Scotch Hall Shopping Centre in Drogheda, off the River Boyne. In a wonderful set up, the French Market will nicely compliment your visit to the quality Farmer Market newly setup and to the outstanding Scotch Hall Shopping Centre. The French Market will be on from 9.30am to 6pm each day.

Fri. 25th & Sat. 26th Sept. 09 - Ulster Canal Caper Festival in Clones, Co Monaghan - back to top For the launch of the programme to reopen the Ulster Canal, a festival is organised in Clones in conjunction with Waterways Ireland. The French Market of Ireland was held on the Diamond from 11am to 8pm on Friday and from 10am to 6pm on Saturday. Following the warmest welcome we received the market was extended on the Sunday where we enjoy the colorful and vibrant Soap Box races.

Sunday 13th Sept. 09 - New Ross Maritime Festival, Co Wexford - back to top After our participation to the JFK Dunbrody Festival, we were back in New Ross, Co Wexford on Sunday 13th September 09 for a one day Maritime Festival, 11am - 6pm. Thank to Sean Reidy from Dunbrody Famin Ship for his invitation. Fri. 28th Aug. - Sun. 30 Aug. 09 - Oughterard Horse Show, Co Galway - back to top Thanks to the Show Committee for greeting us on the day. After the first day being cancelled for Gale Force Wind (Met Eireann warning), the Market was held on Saturday and Sunday despite the heavy rain which prevented us to take our usual market pics... But after the rain, we are all looking for the Irish Indian summer! On Friday, despite the weather (Gale Force wind), Olivier, our Brittany Pancake Chef, improvised some cooking tuition.
